Mepco Label Systems production capabilities are based on customer needs. If a customer makes a request for a new product, Mepco will create a new process to get the job done. Mepco is committed to the protection of the environment while at the same time delivering the highest quality and most cost effective production output. We work closely with not only our customers but also with our suppliers to increase our production and our capabilities.

Mepco operates under an integrated production and distribution system made possible by our total in-house production and graphics facility. Mepco label systems have been located in Stockton, California since 1912. Mepco Occupies seven building in the historic downtown district.

We perform every facet of the manufacturing process with the latest in Hi-tech equipment. Our graphics department utilizes a specialized flexo printing software for proofing and color separation. We have color scanners and proofing printers as well as color separation equipment. All our negatives and plates are manufactured on the premises with environmentally safe processes and equipment.

Custom in-house paper coating capabilities have proven to be of great benefit to Mepco and its customers. Over the years it has allowed us to offer the latest stock and adhesive combinations at a significant cost savings to our customers. A full range of stocks both paper and plastic liners are available to our customers in order to provide the combination that best fits their special requirements.

Fourteen high-speed flexo presses line our pressroom and have the capability to print label from blanks up to 14 colors. In addition to being able to to print up to fourteen colors this press allows us to print IRC coupons (instant redeemable coupons). It also allows us to brink booklet type label coupons, which are often used to give the customer cooking instructions. We have two presses that can print on both unsupported film and pressure sensitive label stock. Our newest press the Nilipeter F-Line supports any combination of flexo, UV-flexo, rotary screen and foil stamping while giving you high-quality performance and top of the line results. Several of our presses use UV-Flexo printing to convert labels and film. This produces a label for application where chemical and water resistance is critical. Mepco also prints using a continuous-feed, high speed, 13” press that completes finished rolls with a 25% savings in finished product time.
